Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

These terms govern your use of the Eyebiss website and consumer decision service. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms do not replace an electricity provider’s contract or any separate agreement you explicitly accept.

2. Who operates Eyebiss

Eyebiss is operated by Kamilion LLC d/b/a Eyebiss. In these terms, “Eyebiss,” “we,” and “us” refer to the operator of this service. You can reach us at privacy@eyebiss.ai.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these terms. If you provide information for another person or household, you must have authority to do so. The current public service is designed for Texas residential electricity; eligibility for retail choice depends on the actual service location and utility territory.

4. What Eyebiss does

Eyebiss is an evidence-based electricity decision service. It can receive a bill or information you supply, organize bill and plan evidence, explain electricity costs, and evaluate plan economics when sufficient supported evidence is available. Checking your electricity plan is free for consumers.

Features and evidence coverage are limited. A bill analysis or educational explanation does not establish that a current alternative plan is available to you. Live-plan recommendations may be unavailable when the public catalog has no admitted plans or the evidence does not meet the decision standard. Enrollment is not connected today.

5. Decision outputs and estimates

KEEP, WAIT, SWITCH, NEEDS_INFORMATION, and similar outputs describe an assessment based on the available evidence and its limitations. Inputs may include bills, usage, contract terms, plan documents, market data, timing, and information you supply. An outcome may be preliminary or may ask for more information.

Estimates and projections depend on stated assumptions and are not guaranteed quotes or instructions to change providers. Review the supporting evidence, dates, assumptions, exclusions, and uncertainty shown with a result. An earlier result may no longer apply after the facts or market change. You decide whether to act.

6. No guarantee of savings

Eyebiss does not guarantee savings, the lowest available price, or any particular outcome. Electricity rates, usage, transmission and distribution utility or service provider (TDU/TDSP) charges, taxes, fees, provider pricing, available offers, contract terms, and household behavior can change. Actual bills may differ from estimates. Check the provider’s current Electricity Facts Label and terms before making a commitment.

7. Information you provide

Provide accurate, current information to the best of your knowledge, including bills, usage, service location, plan identity, contract dates, and termination fees when requested. Identify estimates and correct errors you discover. Missing, inaccurate, or conflicting information may prevent a decision or change its result. Do not submit information you are not authorized to share.

8. Third-party information

Eyebiss may use retail electric provider information, Electricity Facts Labels and other plan documents, public data, partner or API catalog data, and utility or market information. Third-party information can be incomplete, outdated, unavailable, or incorrect. A source citation does not imply endorsement. Coverage of some plans does not mean coverage of every plan, provider, or Texas service area.

9. Enrollment is a separate transaction

Eyebiss analysis does not enroll you, switch your provider, cancel your current contract, or authorize someone to do those things. Enrollment is not connected to the current public service.

If an Eyebiss or partner enrollment pathway becomes available, it will require a separate, explicit action and any required authorization. The applicable provider or partner will supply its own terms, eligibility requirements, prices, and disclosures. A recommendation is not a promise that a provider will accept an application or honor a previously observed offer.

10. Compensation and commercial relationships

Eyebiss may receive compensation from a provider or partner when a user enrolls through certain future Eyebiss or partner pathways. Compensation does not determine the Eyebiss decision or verdict. KEEP, WAIT, SWITCH, and requests for more information depend on the decision evidence. This disclosure does not mean enrollment is currently available or that a particular commercial relationship exists.

11. Your retail electricity relationship

Eyebiss provides decision support. It is not your retail electric provider, a utility, a TDU/TDSP, ERCOT, or the Public Utility Commission of Texas, and it does not supply or deliver electricity. Your electricity service remains governed by your agreement with your provider and applicable utility rules. Contact your provider about billing or service contracts and your utility about outages or delivery emergencies. These terms do not grant Eyebiss authority to act as your agent for enrollment.

12. Your content and bill uploads

You retain your rights in documents and information you submit. You authorize Eyebiss to process them as needed to provide the requested analysis, operate the service, and maintain the minimized records described in the privacy policy. This is a limited service-use permission, not a transfer of ownership or permission to publish your bill.

Only upload information relevant to the requested service that you are entitled to share. Keep your own original documents. Service use is not consent to publish your information as research, and these terms do not expand the retention or research permissions described in the privacy policy.

13. Privacy

The Privacy and bill handling policy explains what Eyebiss receives, request-scoped bill processing, minimized decision records, retention, deletion requests, and recovery-system limitations. Please read it before submitting information. Separate service-processing consent remains part of the applicable check flow.

14. Acceptable use

Do not use Eyebiss unlawfully, submit malicious files, impersonate others, access data without permission, bypass access controls, or interfere with the service. Do not use automated attacks or excessive requests that impair availability. Do not reverse engineer protected software to defeat security controls or misuse non-public systems, except where applicable law permits it. These terms do not restrict rights that the law protects or permissions granted by an applicable open-source license.

15. Intellectual property

Eyebiss and its licensors retain their rights in the website, software, original content, branding, and decision methodology. You may access the service and use your results for your personal electricity decisions, and link to public pages with accurate attribution. Third-party materials remain subject to their owners’ rights. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of your uploaded documents or overrides an applicable open-source license.

16. Third-party services and links

Links or integrations may take you to services operated by others. Their terms and privacy practices govern your use of those services. Eyebiss does not control their websites, availability, performance, or contracts. Read their disclosures before sending information or making a commitment.

17. Service availability

Features, evidence sources, and coverage may change, be suspended, or become unavailable. We may restrict access to address abuse, security issues, legal requirements, or operational problems. We do not promise uninterrupted service or continuing access to an earlier result. A disruption to Eyebiss does not itself change your electricity contract or service.

18. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that every error will be detected, that third-party information is complete or current, or that estimates will match future bills. This does not exclude any warranty or consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.

19. Limits on liability

To the extent permitted by law, Eyebiss is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, such as lost business profits or opportunities. This limitation does not exclude direct losses for which Eyebiss is legally responsible, fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Nothing in these terms waives non-waivable consumer rights or remedies.

20. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will publish the revised terms and effective date on this page and provide a prominent notice of material changes before they take effect. Changes apply prospectively. Where the law requires consent to a change, we will seek it. If you do not agree with updated terms, stop using the service.

21. Governing law

Texas law and applicable federal law govern these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. These terms do not require arbitration, waive class-action rights, or limit your right to contact a regulator or seek a remedy available under applicable law.
