Texas electricity definition
TDU delivery charge
Also: delivery charge, TDSP charge, wires charge
A regulated charge for transmitting and distributing electricity through the local delivery system.
What it means
Delivery charges can include fixed and usage-based components. A REP may pass them through on the retail bill, but changing the REP normally does not change the TDU assigned to the address.
Eyebiss interpretation
How the decision system uses this concept
Eyebiss separates delivery charges from switchable REP economics and never assumes switching removes them.
